Is it easy to put on? Can I do it alone?

Yes and yes! The Close Baby Carrier is designed to be easy to put on, on your own. Once you have the hang of it takes less than 30 seconds to put on with your baby safely positioned inside. It looks a little like an octopus when you first take it out the bag, but is accompanied with an illustrated instruction brochure and a free DVD, so learning how to use it couldn't be easier. In fact it's simpler than learning to tie a shoelace! Simply pop it on over your head like a t-shirt.

The carrier is designed to be anatomically correct for both the baby and the wearer. This carrier will not cause back problems, as it is specifically designed to carry over both shoulders with wide soft cotton straps with fixed lumber support to evenly distribute your baby's weight. Because your baby is held so Close, he or she will have the same centre of gravity which is essential in preventing back problems. However if you currently suffer from back problems, please consult your chiropractor or doctor and they will be able to help you with your specific situation. My Baby feels too low down. What is wrong?

You possibly don't have the carrier tight enough. Make sure that you have the carrier pulled tightly through the rings before you put your baby in. Always err on the side of being too tight until you get used to the carrier. Approx 10cm space between you and the fabric should be fine.
