Baby Show - NEC Birmingham
For the chance to win two tickets to the Baby Show at the NEC this month simply fill in your details below. The Baby Show is a great way to check out all the latest things for baby and bag yourself a bargain or three at the same time! Our guest Mum blogger Zara White was lucky enough to win tickets to last year's show and you can find out what she thought of the show below.
I was lucky enough to win tickets to the Baby Show when I entered a Facebook competition that Close Parent were running. Having attended the show previously in 2014 and 2015 with my first child, I knew that there would be plenty of weaning products and advice available to help with weaning my second child. My son has food allergies so this is a different weaning experience compared to that of my daughter.
My mum and I decided to attend the show on the Sunday. Yet again the show didn't disappoint. Within minutes of arriving we were booked onto a taster baby sensory session which Harry thoroughly enjoyed. I was also able to stock up my children's bath products at a fraction of the normal price in the supermarkets.
The Aldi feeding station was very impressive. We were able to have a sit down and have a drink whilst Harry munched away on free snacks in a highchair.
We made our way to the Close stand and I was delighted to collect my goodie bag. I was really impressed with winning a Close hooded towel, waterproof bib and a tote bag. I love the funky colours and prints and all of the items are firm favourites already!
Walking round the remainder of the exhibition led us to find a device to sweep food crumbs away in an instant, a series of multi-sensory books to help make weaning fun and plenty of great stalls with brightly coloured bibs and cutlery on offer.
I said to my husband the first time we attended the show that you could literally buy everything you need for your newborn at this show at really reasonable prices. I still stand by this comment, especially as my son currently sleeps in his co-sleeper crib we ordered at the show last year for a fantastic price.
Overall, I'd say this show is well worth attending if you are an expectant parent, parents of newborns or toddlers or if you are a childminder. The Baby Show has so much to offer and the savings that can be made are great.
